Medical Social Worker

Services include providing patients and their families with psychosocial support needed to cope with and manage their health status. This includes referring patients to community resources to provide access to services such as financial assistance, housing, and other programs, including VA provider care and services. A Medical Social Worker also works in providing appropriate referrals  based on the patient’s needs.
